As an Operations Officer at DHL, the incumbent will be responsible for performing operational tasks to ensure smooth execution and transportation of shipments. Responsibilities:

 

Handling/handing over of shipments to concerned carriers at the airport in collaboration with own office and customs clearing party.

Ensure clear and sound packing of goods and proper labeling of each box.

Finalizing AWB as per final weight, dimensions as approved by the booking carriers.

Responsible to attach documents required to accompany AWB/Freight as per customer instructions.

Collection of delivery orders for import shipments from the airport and keeping its record.

Preparation and collection of billing corresponding to custom clearance and transportation of shipments.

Maintain areas of expertise for smooth execution of shipments with operations team.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in air cargo operations at an international or renowned local integrated operations company.

Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policies.
